Lead Fisheries Technician

Kathleen Street, a member of the Xwisten community, is the Lead Fisheries Technician at Splitrock Environmental and has been with the company since 2018. Kat completed the Environmental Technician Program in 2014 and has over 6  years of experience in the environmental field. Kat has worked primarily in fisheries management.  Some of her experience includes habitat assessments, juvenile growth sampling, tagging of adult and juvenile salmon, fish salvages at hydroelectric facilities and the operation of an inclined plane trap. As Lead Fisheries Technician, Kat manages all fisheries programs at Splitrock. When she is not at work, Kat can be found walking her dog, working out or getting cozy at home.
