Stein-Nahatlatch Grizzly Bear Project
Splitrock Environmental is contributing to the recovery of the critically endangered Stein-Nahatlatch Grizzly Bear population by protecting the habitat and safeguarding the surrounding ecosystem. While the grizzly bear population seeks to benefit from this recovery, ongoing research initiatives by the team (including tracking, wildlife camera work, DNA assessment of the grizzly bears, critical habitat assessments, human-bear conflict mitigation and general education) are in place to support the many other species who will take to benefit from the increasing grizzly population numbers and critical habitat protection.
